Kia Ora, "Kai in the bay" is an exciting new Hawke's Bay event dedicated to traditional Maori kai pre / post European and "thinking out side the square" Wild Foods.

Perfume Point Reserve, Hardinge Road West, Ahuriri, Napier will be the venue for this event. On Saturday 13th of November from 8am, passionate food and drink enthusiasts will explore, taste, enjoy and purchase a fine collection of traditional Kai & Drink.

In addition to experiencing the many food / beverage stands & exhibitions, "Kai in the bay" have invited numerous talented Maori and European Chefs who will demonstrate their mouth watering signature dishes. Not to be missed Ready Set Cook "Kai tere Kai" with secret local celebrities who will entertain you with their culinary skills in only 30 minutes.
